Service Conunission of Salt Lake City since January 1, 1964.
The City Commission is most appreciative and wishes you happiness
and success in the days to come.

RESOLUTION
Result
WHEREAS, Milo S. Marsden, Jr., has resigned as Civil Service
Coordinator for Salt Lake City to become effective January 15,
1973; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Marsden has unselfishly served Salt Lake City
and the residents thereof since January 1, 1964; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Marsden did supervise all in rank and in grade
examinations and promotions, in a capable and professional manner,
of the police department, fire department, as well as the health
department up until the time that that department was transferred
to the jurisdiction of the county; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Marsden served as a conscientious and faithful
employee in the capacity of Civil Service Coordinator,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Commissioners
of Salt Lake City, Utah, that it does hereby express to Milo S.
Marsden, Jr., on behalf of the Board and on behalf of the resi-
dents of Salt Lake City, its sincere appreciation and gratitude
for his devoted and capable service rendered in behalf of the
Civil Service Commission of Salt Lake City, and to the residents
of Salt Lake City. Said Board extends to him its best wishes for
happiness and success in the days to come.
The City Recorder is hereby directed to deliver a copy of
this Resolution of Appreciation to Milo S. Marsden, Jr.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 16th day of January, 1973.
