WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City Corporation
appointed an ad hoc committee to examine the advisory committees of
Salt Lake City and directed said ad hoc committee to recommend which
committees should be abolished; and
WHEREAS, the ad hoc committee has recommended that the City abolish
the Advisory Committee on Off-Street Parking, the Citizens Advisory
Committee on Municipal Programs and Capitol Improvements, Citizens
Advisory Committee on Workable Programs for Community Improvements and
the Data Processing Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best interest of the City to
abolish said advisory committees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City, Utah, that the Advisory Committee on Off-Street Parking,
the Citizens Advisory Committee on Municipal Programs and Capitol
Improvements, the Citizens Advisory Committee on Workable Programs for
Community Improvements and the Data Processing Advisory Committee, be,
and the same hereby are, dissolved.
