Fehr - - • Finch - - - I Moran - Mr.Chairman - RESOLUTION Result - • WHEREAS, Salt Lake City, a municipal corporation, is de- sirous of opening and extending Orange Street from the north boundary of South Temple Street to the south boundary of North Temple Street in said city; and WHEREAS, the owners of the land necessary for such street opening have refused to accept the price tendered by the city for said land; and WHEREAS, it is and hereby is declared to be necessary for said city to own the following described property for street purpos; for the opening and extension of Orange Street. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and he hereby is instructed and directed to bring suit against the owners of the property hereinafter described for the purpose of acquiring title to said lands for Salt Lake City by condemnation for said opening and extension of Orange Street, said lands being the following, to-wit: Beginning at the N.W.gorner of Lot 18, Block 3, Holmes & Henderson Subdivision of Sec. 3, T. 1 S., R. 1 W., S. L. B. & M.; thence west 66 ft., thence north 719.4 ft., more or less, to the south line of North Temple St.; thence east 66 ft., thence south 719.4 ft., more or less, to the point of beginning, being in Sec. , T. 1 S., R. 1 W., and Sec. 34, T. 1 N., R. 1 V., S.I. B. & M., containing 1.09 acres more or less. .„,, . - *2* BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said city attorney be and he is hereby instructed to commence such proceedings at once. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this resolution become effective at once.
