A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING the emergency use of heliports at the Salt Lake County General Hospital and the LDS Primary Children's Hospital. WHEREAS, under Section 5(c) of Part III of the Salt Lake City Airport Regulations as amended by Bill No. 5 of 1962, the Salt Lake City Board of Commissioners is empowered to authorize emergency landing fields for helicopters; and WHEREAS, emergency landing fields are being established at the Salt Lake County General Hospital and the LDS Primary Children's Hospital; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH: That the emergency use of helicopter landing fields at the Salt Lake County General Hospital and the LDS Primary Children's Hospital be approved subject to the following regulations: a. Such emergency landing fields shall be duly licensed by the Utah State Aeronautics Commission. b. Use of such fields shall be in full compliance with such restrictions, limitations and safety regulations as may be imposed by the Utah State Aeronautics Commission. c. Use of such fields shall be subject to all flight regula- tions applicable to such fields as may have been heretofore enacted by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City or that may hereafter be enacted by the Board. - 2 - d. Approval given in this resolution is subject to cancel- lation by the Board of Commissioners at any time.
