RESOLUTION
Result . . . .
WHEREAS, bred F. Parry departed this life on the 18th day
of June, 1969; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Parry was employed by Salt Lake City in excess
of 40 years in the Department of Streets and Public Improvements,
and during his long tenure of employment with Salt Lake City, he
served with fidelity and efficiency; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Parry has served as foreman of the Sanitation
Crew in said department for the past 11 years and was always pleasant
and courteous to all with whom he came in contact in his work and
thereby rendered Salt Lake City valuable service as a creditable
representative of the City:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that it does hereby express in its own
behalf and in behalf of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City its deep
and sincere appreciation for the life and service of Fred F. Parry
and for his contribution to the effective administration in the
department in which he served.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Board of City Commissioners
does hereby express deep sympathy to the family of Fred F. Parry.
The City Recorder is directed to transmit a copy of this
resolution to the family of Mr. Parry.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 19th day of June, 1969.
