j OF CONDOLENCE
WHEREAS, ROSCOEBODEN departed from this life on the 14th
day of June, 1971, at the age of 86 years; and
WHEREAS, he has devoted a major portion of his life to
public service being elected Salt Lake County Commissioner for
three terms, Salt Lake County Surveyor for three terms, and a
member of the staff of the Salt Lake City Engineering Office; and
WHEREAS, he was active in his chosen profession serving as
construction engineer with the Denver and Rio Grand Western Rail-
road for two years and participated in many important construction
projects in the State of Utah and the intermountain west; and
WHEREAS, he was active in professional, community and civic,
and fraternal organizations in this community; and
WHEREAS, in his passing the City of Salt Lake has lost one
of its respected and valued citizens:
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Commissioners
of Salt Lake City, Utah, that it does hereby express on its own
behalf, and on behalf of the residents of Salt Lake City, its deep
and sincere appreciation for the life and service of RoscoeBoden.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be
delivered to the family of RoscoeBoden as an expression of our
sympathy for the loss they have sustained in h's passing.
