Re9uli RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The City Recorder has notified the Board of Commis-
sioners that he has duly advertised notice of intention to
operate and maintain Lighting District No. 2, covering both
sides of Main street between South Temple and Fifth South Streets,
and that at 10 o'clock A.M. October 13th, 1920, the time set for
receiving protests, one protest by Joseph Baumgarten, representing
19.8 feet of abutting property, which protest does not represent
a majority of the frontage, had been received;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the report heretofore
prepared and submitted by the City Engineer of Salt Lake City to
the Board of Commissioners on the 23rd day of September, 1920,
containing plans and specifications of the said improvement and
estimate of the cost thereof, a diagram of the proposed district
and the boundaries and dimensions of the respective lots therein,
and proposed assessments of the cost of the proposed improvement,
upon the several lots therein, be, and the same is hereby
approved and adopted; and it is hereby ordered that the said
improvement be made in accordance therewith inder the supervi-
sion of the City Engineer; and the City Recorder is hereby directed
to give fifteen days' notice to contractors for filing bids for the
work required by the plans and specifications of the aforesaid
report, in accordance with law.
