Result
RESOLUTION OF CONDOLENCE
WHEREAS, Robert A. McCarthy passed from this life on May 15,
1975; and
WHEREAS, Robert A. McCarthy commenced employment with Salt Lake
City in July, 1964, as an inspector in the Power and Heating Division,
performing his duties in an outstanding manner; and
WHEREAS, Robert A. McCarthy was a valued employee, conscientious,

qualified, faithful and diligent employee of Salt Lake City; and
WHEREAS, Mr. McCarthy was admired, respected and honored by
his fellow employees and all others who knew him; and
WHEREAS, Mr. MCarthy fulfilled his difficult and demanding duties
cheerfully and faithfully, earning the friendship and respect of
the public with whom he dealt; and
WHEREAS, his passing from this life has left a great void in
the lives of all who knew him.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City, on its behalf and on behalf of the citizens of Salt
Lake City, its profound grief and sorrow and expresses its sincere
sympathy to the family of Robert A. McCarthy for the great personal
loss which they have sustained.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be delivered
to the family of Mr. McCarthy extending our sympathy in their bereave-
ment.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
is 19th day of May, 1975.
