corporation, owns and operates a street railway system in Salt
Lake City, Utah, one branch or line of which is located on
Seventh East, extending, on said street from Fifth South Street
to and beyond the south boundary line of Salt Lake City to
Thirty-third South Street; and
.EfER- S, said Traction Company represents that
to facilitate and expedite street car traffic and to make im-
provements in the service by use of more modern equipment upon
said Seventh East Street line, it is necessary to construct,
maintain, and operate a turnout, commonly called "wye," track
on Simpson Avenue at its intersection with said Seventh East
Street, which will consist of two curved tracks and one straight
track, the latter to be located upon Simpson Avenue and to
extend along the center line of said Avenue from the junction
of the two curved tracks to a point approximately 130 feet west
of the intersection of the center of said Avenue and the street
car tracks on Seventh east Street;

R:;t;OLV D, that Utah Light and Traction Company be,
and it is hereby, granted permission to construct, maintain, and
operate a single track turnout, together with all the requisite
switches, poles, electric wire circuits, and all appliances
necessary to be placed on said streets, said turnout to be located
on the west side of said Traction Company's Seventh East Street
tracks at the intersection of said Seventh East Street and Simpson
Avenue and to extend to a point not more than 130 feet west from
the intersection of said streets.
Said tracks shall oe constructed in conformity with
the standards of the American Electrical Railway Engineering Associa-
tion.

Lake City, Utah, this 5tg day of November, 1929.
