RESOLUTION
Result . . . .
WHEREAS, the industrial development of the area lying west
of Salt Lake City on both sides of Interstate Highway 80 is
necessary and desirable for the economic growth of Salt Lake City
and Salt Lake County; and,
WHEREAS, the present proposed access roads to said Interstate
Highway 80 are not sufficient in number to adequately accommodate
and encourage the development of said area; and,
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City to encourage and promote the industrial development
of this area;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that said Board does hereby give its
support to the efforts of those landowners within the above des-
cribed area to secure additional access roads to Interstate High-
way 80 within said area and, specifically, to support their efforts
to secure an interchange at 5600 West in Salt Lake County.
