Scheid ' Shearman Wells �� t 11+ Mr.Chairman _-_--- Result RESOLUTION WHEREAS, The Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City is in sympathy with the establishment of a Citizens' Training Camp at Fort Douglas, Utah, during the summer of 1916; and WHEREAS, Said Board is desirous of affording opportunity to as many city officials and employees as can be spared from the city offices, to have the training given by said Citizens' Training Camp; THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the heads of all departments of the city government are hereby instructed to arrange matters in their several departments so as to allow as many men as possible, consistent with the proper rendering of public services, to be relieved of their duties in said departments for a sufficient length of time to attend said Military Training Camp for the period of aue—moath. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That each city officer or employee attending said Training Camp shall be continued upon the pay roll oftheCityatfullpayduringthetimehissaid attendance.
