Result
/ RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, Richard M. Moore, has faithfully served as an employee
of Salt Lake City Corporation since October 8, 1926; and
WHEREAS, he has given a lifetime of service to Salt Lake City
Corporation, having started work in the city maintenance of the Depart-
ment of Water Supply and Waterworks, and working his way to his present
position as Maintenance Superintendent; and
WHEREAS, his wife, Gladys Moore, has supported him in his position
which has demanded many hours of extra work on holidays and during the
nighttime; and
WHEREAS, he has faithfully and diligently performed his duties for
the City; and
WHEREAS, Swlt Lake City Corporation and its residents owe him a
debt of gratitude for his many years of devoted and faithful service;
and
WHEREAS, Mr. Moore will retire from his employment with the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that it does hereby express to Mr. and Mrs.
Moore its sincere and deep appreciation for his faithful service to
the City and its residents. The Board of Commissioners, on behalf
of themselves and the residents of the City, hereby extends to
Richard M. Moore its best wishes for a long and enjoyable retirement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be delivered
to Richard M. Moore as an expression of our gratitude for a job well
done.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
