RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, the Salt Lake City Civil Service Commission is a vital
administrative arm of the Salt Lake City government; and
WHEREAS, the members of the said commission devote much time
and energy to this work with only token remuneration; and
WHEREAS, one Franklin D. Johnson was appointed to the commission
on March 8, 1973, and was subsequently named vice-chairman of the Civil
Service Commission on July 1, 1974, and has served continuously until
May 14, 1975; and
WHEREAS, said Franklin D. Johnson served conscientiously and
with distinction throughout his tenure both as commissioner and as
vice-chairman of the commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City on behalf of themselves and all the residents of Salt
Lake City, that it does hereby express sincere appreciation and
gratitude for the dedicated and faithful service of Franklin D. Johnson
and does hereby commend him for his dedicated and noteworthy service.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be delivered
to Franklin D. Johnson.
