RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, on November 12, 1965, the new street lighting facili-
ties on State Street between South Temple Street and 4th South
Street in Salt Lake City, Utah, were formerly dedicated by an
appropriate ceremony to the use and benefit of the citizens of Salt
Lake City; and
WHEREAS, the Midvale Jr. High School Band, consisting of 72
members, under the direction of Byron Peart, Conductor, partici-
pated in said ceremony by providing band music of high quality and
to the delight and entertainment of those in attendance, and thereby
made a most significant contribution to the dedicatory ceremony.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF SALT LAKE CITY, on its own behalf, and on behalf of the citizens
of Salt Lake City, hereby expresses to all of the members of said
band and to Byron Peart, Conductor, sincere and deep appreciation
for their willing and gracious participation in said dedicatory cere-
mony and for their splendid contribution to the success of the same.
