RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, William Earl Player commenced employment with Salt Lake
City Corporation in the Street Department in January, 1928; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Player has served as a member of that department
for a total of 40 years; and
WHEREAS, during his long tenure of service he has been diligent
and efficient in the discharge of his duties and assignments and has
served with fidelity and thoroughness, thus rendering valuable
service to Salt Lake City and its inhabitants; and
WHEREAS, he has now retired from his employment with the Salt
Lake City Street Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
SALT LAKE CITY that it does hereby express to William Earl Player
sincere and deep appreciation and gratitude for his faithful service
to Salt Lake City and its citizens. Said Board further expresses
its best wishes for a long, productive and enjoyable period of
retirement.
