Result RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, A resolution was passed by the Board of
Commissioners June 14, 1916, endorsing the Citizens' Training Camp at
Fort Douglas, and providing for a means whereby city officers and
employees would be encouraged to encouraged to enlist; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners is desirous of
setting an example to the other city officers, to employees)and to
citizens generally in the matter of enlisting in said training camp;
and
WHEREAS, One of the members of the Board of Commissioners
can be spared-from his duties for four weeks for the purpose of
enlisting in said training camp;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that one of the Board of
Commissioners be excused from hie duties to the City during the
period of four weeks from August 21, 1916; and that the Commissioner
to be so excused shall be designated by lot, and the one to whom the
lot falls be expected to enlist in said Citizens+ Tr fining Camp.
