Barker Hammen � ,tttt Harrison YXi Phillips RESOLUTION Result XJ WHEREAS, the property owners in the area of the Upper Avenues desire to convert the overhead utilities in that area to underground locations; and WHEREAS, said owners have, pursuant to Chapter 7 of Title 39, Revised. Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, petitioned this Commission for authority to proceed with said conversions. Said petitions are attached hereto and by this reference made a part of this resolution; and WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City find said proposed project to be in the public interest and that it will promote the public convenience, necessity and welfare. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, as follows: 1. That the costs and expenses necessitated in converting these overhead utilities to underground locations be levied and assessed upon the property benefited. 2. That each of the public utility corporations serving said area shall make and submit a study of the cost of the conversion of its facilities in said area to underground services. 3. That the public utilities corporations so involved be fur- nished with the names and addresses of the owner of each parcel or lot within the proposed improvement district, and such other informa- tion as may be required by said corporation in order to perform the work involved in the cost study. 4. That this matter be referred to the City Engineer for computation of the square footage of each property benefited.
