R E SOLUTION .
WHEREAS, on June 6, 1910, a resolution was passed by the City
Council ordering all wooden poles removed from Ninth East Street and
replaced with steel poles; and
WHEREAS, on November 27th, 1911, a resolution was passed
by the City Council asking that the former order be complied with at
onoe; and
WHEREAS, on December 6, 1911, a communication was received
from Mr. T. H. Banoroft, President of the Utah Light & Railway Co.
stating that steel poles had been ordered and would be placed as soon
as received; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah, that the Utah Light & Railway Co. be instructed to at
once proceed to replace all wooden poles on Ninth East Street with
steel poles.
Passed by the B rd of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,Utah,
March 4, 1912.
