Wilson, Superintendent of the Salt Lake City Water Supply and Waterworks, to the Board of Directors of the Central Utah Water Conservancy District. TO: JUDGE MAURICE HARDING FOURTH DISTRICT COURT OF THE STATE OF UTAH: WHEREAS, in the organization of the Central Utah Water Conservancy District it is intended that equitable representa- tion be given to the various areas comprising said district on selecting the members of the Board of Directors of said district; and WHEREAS, the property owners in Salt Lake City pay a large share of the taxes levied by said District for its support and operations; and WHEREAS, in the judgment of the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, the city should be represented on said Board of Directors by a person identified with the government of the city and familiar with the water problems and needs of the city, thus giving the city an informed and proper voice in the administration of the affairs of said District; and WHEREAS, Charles W. Wilson has served as superintendent of the City's Water Department for many years and is thoroughly familiar with the water needs and problems of the city and is pre- eminently qualified to serve as a member to said Board of Directors with competency and impartiality; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that said Board hereby respectfully recommends and requests the appointment of Charles W. Wilson as a member of the Board of Directors of said District to fill a vacancy now existing from the Salt Lake City area.
