The Board of City Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah met in
regular session on the 24th day of Dwramhwr 192 9 , at the hour of
lkl u'clockA, M. at the regular meeting place of said Board in the City and
County Building, Salt Lake City, Utah.

Commissioner Chas. N. Fehr introduced the following
resolution and moved its adoptions-
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, there remains uncollected out of the 1929 taxes a sum in
the excess of Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($600,000.00) and
WHEREAS, it will require an additional Six Hundred Thousand Dollars
($600,000.00) to pay off the amount borrowed on Tax Anticipation Notes issued
against the 1929 taxes in the sum of One Million Nine Hundred Thousand Dollars
($1,900,000.00)
NOW, THERS1RE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Salt Lake City, Utah, for the
purpose of paying off the 1929 Tax Anticipation Notes shall borrow the sum
of *ix Hundred Thousand Dollars ($600,000.00) from Walker Brothers Bank on a
note dated December 30, 1929, payable January 3, 1930, said note to draw
interest at the rate of five and three-fourths (5-2) per cent per a nnum.
Said note shall be signed by the Mayor and attested by the City
Recorder under the seal of the City and shall bear certificate of the City
Auditor showing that the amount of the note is within the authorized debt
limit.
This resoltuion shall take effect upon adoption.
