SOLUsult WHEREAS, the employees of Salt Lake City have been granted the privilege of family coverage on a group basis; and WHEREAS, to get this family coverage, it is necessary that a payroll deduction be made from each employee applying for family coverage; and WHEREAS, the City:Auditor is desirous of having the Board of City Commissioners grant to him the privilege of making deductions from the City employees who apply for the aforementioned family insurance and keeping the same in a special fund and paying, from said fund to the insurance carrier, monthly such amount as is due for premiums. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, that the City Auditor, Louis E. Holley, is hereby granted permission to deduct from the payrolls of the City employees, upon the written order of a said employee, such amount as the employee may designate to be safely kept by the City Auditor and paid by the City Auditor to the insur- ance carrier, in accordance with the request and direction of the City employee authorizing the deduction. It is necessary in the opinion of the Board of Commis- sioners for the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake city, Utah, that this resolution take effect upon its passage.
