WHEREAS, on the 15th day of December, 1965, a Resolution was duly
passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, a copy of which
Resolution is attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer for Salt Lake City has now determined
that all of the land described in said Resolution is not necessary for
the construction of the new roadway and pursuant to said determination
the Resolution, heretofore passed as per attached copy, is hereby
amended to provide as follows:
The parcel of land described in the prior Resolution is hereby
amended to read as follows:
Beginning at a point N. 89°44'35" E. 431.0 ft. and S.
0°10'30" W. 134.77 ft. from the Northwest corner of
Lot 11, Block 5, Five Acre Plat "B", Big Field Survey
and running thence S. 0°10'30" W. 110.04 ft.; thence
N. 55°02'48" E. 278.25 ft. ; thence N. 61°28'33" E.
76.876 ft.; thence N. 0°10'30" E. 50.0 ft.; thence S.
89°44'35" W. 149.38 ft.; thence southeasterly around
a 15 foot radius curve to the right 38.04 ft.; thence
S. 55°02'48" W. 188.73 ft. to the point of beginning.
Containing 0.67 acres.
The provisions of said prior Resolution are hereby declared to
be unaltered and unchanged except as herein amended with regards to
the above description.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 2nd day of February, 1966.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, it is necessary to construct a new roadway from California
Avenue and 8th West to 13th South and 7th West Streets in the corporate
limits of Salt Lake City: and
WHEREAS, the public interest and necessity require the acquisition
of the real property hereinafter described for the above named public
thoroughfare:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH:
That it is necessary and in the public interest of Salt Lake City
and its inhabitants that the city construct a new roadway for the use
of the public from California Avenue and 8th West to 13th South and
7th West within the corporate limits of Salt Lake City:
That said land hereinafter described and the whole thereof is
hereby determined to be necessary for the construction of the new road-
way as hereinabove described;
That condemnation proceedings be, and the same hereby are,
authorized to be brought in the name of Salt Lake City by the Law Depart-
ment of Salt Lake City to acquire thereby all the land hereinafter des-
cribed for the necessary construction of the right of way and public
street as hereinabove set forth.
The parcel of land hereinabove referred to and hereby authorized
to be acquired by condemnation proceedings in accordance with the
provisions of the statutes and the Constitution of the State of Utah
relating to eminent domain is situated in the county of Salt Lake,
state of Utah, and is more particularly described as follows:
