RESOLUTION
Result
WHEREAS, the Salt Lake City Historical Landmark Committee has
contributed many long and devoted hours of service, without remunera-
tion, for the purpose of more fully preserving buildings and related
structures of historic and architectural significance; and
WHEREAS, through their planning and recommendations important
cultural and educational landmark sites were preserved for the use,
observation, education, pleasure and general welfare of both present
and future residents of Salt Lake City; and
WHEREAS, each individual member has served with great distinction
and the citizens of Salt Lake and the residents of the State of Utah
owe the Committee a great debt of gratitude for the unselfish and
diligent service which they have provided.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City that it does hereby express on its own behalf and on
behalf of the citizens of Salt Lake City, its most sincere and deepest
appreciation and gratitude for the Committee's long and diligent service
and does hereby commend each and every member of the Committee for their
dedication, contribution and willingness to give of their services
to the community.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this Resolution be delivered
to each member of said Committee.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 16th day of June, 1976.
