Result RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The provisions concerning house numbering contained
in the ordinances of Salt Lake City are not being observed; and
WHEREAS, Much confusion results therefrom; and
WHEREAS, There are numerous instances where different streets
in said pity have the same name, end confusion results therefrom:
THEREFORE, Be it resolved that the City Engineer be and he
hereby is instructed to assign proper numbers to unnumbered or
wrongly numbered houses, and to enforce the said ordinances concern-
ing street numbers, and also to report to the Board of Commissioners
a list of the different streets having the same names, with notations
thereon showing which of two or more streets having the same name
was named first, end also to submit to the Board of Commissioners
an estimate of the cost of placing street name signs on streets not
having such signs. Et ,
