WHEREAS, Salt Lake City Corporation, hereinafter City,
has applied for funding for an environmental and land use study
under a master plan for The Salt Lake City International Airport;
and
WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal
Aviation Administration, hereinafter D.O.T., is prepared to al-
locate 90.94% of the allowable costs for such a planning study,
up to a maximum of $78,663.00 pursuant to the provisions of the
Planning Grant Agreement for project No. A-49-0033-02, contract
No. D.O.T. - FA77RM-0142, copy attached; and
WHEREAS, City is desirous of entering into said
agreement and obtaining said funds,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of City
Commissioners that the Mayor be and hereby is authorized to
sign said Planning Grant Agreement.
