RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, the Salt Lake City Council retained Arthur
Young & Company to serve as the Council's Budget Analysts
for Fiscal Year '80-'81; and
WHEREAS, during the time of Budget preparation and hearings,
Arthur Young & Co. assisted the Council in every phase of the
budgeting process; and
WHEREAS, Arthur Young & Company's staff was always avail-
able to the Council for consultation; and
WHEREAS, the research and thoroughness of the staff of
Arthur Young & Company in comparing the City's budget with
cities similar to Salt Lake City was very helpful to the
Council; and
WHEREAS, the data developed by Arthur Young & Company
enabled the City Council to make a careful analysis of the
city's funding and programming needs to determine the best
use of the City taxpayer's monies; and
WHEREAS, the assistance Arthur Young & Company provided
will be of benefit to the City Council throughout Fiscal
Year '80-'81 and budgeting for years to come;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of
Salt Lake City that it does hereby express on its own behalf
and on the behalf of the taxpayers of Salt Lake City, its
sincere appreciation for the devoted and tireless service
that Arthur Young and Company provided to the Council and
City during the budgeting process for Fiscal Year '80-'81.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this day of July, 1980.
