A RESOLUTION ADOPTING AN AMENDED BUDGET OF SALT LAKE
CITY, UTAH, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1972
AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1973.
WHEREAS, a resolution adopting a budget for Salt Lake City,
Utah, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1972 and ending June 30,
1973, was approved by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah, on the 28th day of June, 1972; and
WHEREAS, said budget has been reviewed by the Board of Com-
missioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, and said Board has determined
that said budget should be amended by increasing the general fund
thereof in the manner prescribed by law; and
WHEREAS, notice of the public hearing to consider the adoption
of said amended budget has been published as required by law; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing to consider the adoption of said
amended budget has been held in accordance with said notice, at which
hearing all interested parties were heard for and against the adoption
of said amended budget; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to the final adoption of
said amended budget have been accomplished:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, as follows:
SECTION 1. That the amended budgets attached hereto and
made a part of the Resolution, which include the cash budget for each
utility or other special fund, be, and the same hereby are, adopted
as and for the budgets of Salt Lake City, Utah, for the fiscal year
beginning July 1, 1972 and ending June 30, 1973, in accordance with
the requirements of Article 4 of Chapter 10 of Title 10, Utah Code
Annotated 1953, as amended.
SECTION 2. That the budget officer be, and he hereby is,
authorized and directed to certify and file a copy of each of the
ti
said budgets with the State Auditor as are required to be filed with
that officer under the provisions of Article 4, of Chapter 10 of
Title 10, Utah Code Annotated 1953, as amended.
SECTION 3. That the budget officer be, and he hereby is,
authorized and directed to certify and file a copy of each of the
said budgets in the office of the City Recorder which shall be
available for public inspection at all times as required by Article
4, of Chapter 10 of Title 10, Utah Code Annotated 1953, as amended.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 28th day of June , 1973.
