RESOLUTION CREATING SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT — LIGHTING DISTRICT NO. 10-9F
WHEREAS, the Salt Lake City Board of Commissioners declared its
intention to create Lighting District No. 10-9F on the 20th day of
January, 1976; and
WHEREAS, said Notice of Intention was published first on January
23, 1976, second on January 30, 1976, third on February 6, 1976, and
last on February 13, 1976; and that said Notice was mailed, postage
prepaid, to each owner of the property to be assessed within the
special improvement district at his last known address as said address
appeared on the last completed real property assessment rolls of Salt
Lake County, and also sent to "Owner" at the street number of each
piece of improved property to be assessed; and
WHEREAS, protests from owners of 6.15% of the total frontage of
property within said district were received in response to the Notice
of Intention of the City Commission to install, operate, maintain and
patrol Lighting District No. 10-9F for First South Street from West
Temple to State Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
SALT LAKE CITY, that in light of the small number of protests received,
the Board does hereby create said district and does hereby authorize
the City Engineer to proceed with this project as described in the
Notice of Intention.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 2611-iday of April , 1977.
