WHEREAS, the Salt Lake City Board of Commissioners declared its inten-
tion to create the Special Improvement District, designated as Curb and
Gutter Extension No. 539; and
WHEREAS, said Notice of Intention was published first on May 15,
1974, second, on May 22, 1974, third, on May 29, 1974, and last on
June 5, 1974; and that said Notice was mailed postage prepaid to each
owner of the property to be assessed within the special improvement
district at his last known address as said address appeared on the last
completed real property assessment rolls of Salt Lake County, and also
spent to "owner" at the street number of each piece of improved property
to be assessed; and
WHEREAS, the total frontage in the proposed district amounts to
9,920.05 front feet; the total percentage of frontage protested in the
entire district is 25.12%.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that the amount of protests to said Special Improve-
ment District are hereby deemed to be insufficient to require any change
or alteration in the district as proposed, and, accordingly, this Board
does hereby create said district and does hereby authorize the City
Engineer to proceed with this project as described in the Notice of
Intention.
