RESOLUTION .
UHEREAS, By en ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners,
on the 22nd day of Larch, 1915, the Oregon Short Line Railroad
Company was directed to enlarge its viaduct across its railroed
trpcks et the intersection of North Temple Street with Fourth West
; Street, in which ordinance it is provided that "The grades of the
approaches of -tie rcadwry end sdewalks on each side small not
exceed 75"; and
76TTITAS, Since the passage of said ordinance it has been
ascert,--i.ned that the construction of the approaches to said viaduct
end the sidewsiks ce nnot be con_stri,cted et t,-e prede rforest id on
both sides of the same:
NOW THEREFORE, Be it resolved, That the said Ordgon Short Line
Railroad Coml,any in the construction of the approaches of the road-
way end sidewalks aforesaid, is hereby authorised to construct the'
east approach end the sidewalk at a grade not exceeding 8.065 on
any pert of said east approach, and not to exceed 70 on any portion
of the west approach of the new portion of said viaduct.
