WHEREAS, Thelma W. Gunn has been employed by Salt Lake City
in its Water Department for the past 27 years as an office machine
operator; and
WHEREAS, she is retiring from further employment by the City
as of October 1, 1968; and
WHEREAS, during her entire tenure of employment she has been
a conscientious, capable and efficient public servant; and
WHEREAS, through her faithful service and attention to her
duties, she has rendered valuable service to Salt Lake City and
its inhabitants:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that said Board, on its behalf, and on
behalf of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City, does hereby express
to Thelma W. Gunn sincere thanks and appreciation for her devoted
services.
Said Board extends its best wishes that the future will bring
her added enjoyments and satisfactions.
The City Recorder is hereby directed to deliver a copy of
this resolution to Thelma W. Gunn.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
