Harmsen listI- Harrison /4 L. ` Phillips Result RESOLUTION / J/ WHEREAS, this Board of Commissioners resolved on February 3, 1971, to proceed with the improvements known as Underground Conversion of Utilities District No. 8-F-1A; and WHEREAS, this Board on March 17, 1971, under resolution declared the costs of said district, pursuant to the requirements of Section 54-8-14, Utah Code Annotated 1953. as amended, and performed all pre- liminary functions in accordance with the requirements of the State Underground Conversion of Utilities Law, Utah Code Annotated 1953, Section 54-8-1 through 14; and WHEREAS, said Board, by proper resolution, set up a Board of Equalization and Review in conformity with Section 54-8-15, 16 and 17 of said law; and WHEREAS, beginning on the 17th day of July, 1974, said Board of Equalization and Review for Underground Conversion of Utilities District No. 8-F-1A, heard all arguments relating to the benefits accruing to the property affected by said district and the amounts proposed to be assessed against such property, and after considering the arguments presented and making such corrections in the assessment list as they considered just and equitable, they submitted their report to the Board of City Commissioner:: concerning their findings. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH: 1. That pursuant to Underground Conversion of Utilities District No. 8-F-1A, the City does hereby assess the abutting property owners for the total cost of the conversion by special tax assessment to be paid in ten (10) annual installments, plus seven percent (7%) interest on the unpaid balance, according to the square footage of all lots to be benefited by the conversion, as follows: Lot 14 (435 Northmont Way) 18,080.52 square feet -- $1,463.60 Lot 15 (445 Northmont Way) 18,080.52 square feet -- $1,463.60 Lot 16 (445 Northmont Way) 18,080.52 square feet -- $1,463.60 Lot 17 (447 Northmont Way) 18,080.52 square feet -- $1,463.60 Lot 18 (451. Northmont Way) 18,080.52 square feet -- $1,463.60 Lot 19 (455 Northmont Way) 17,669.28 square feet -- $1,430.50 -2- 2. That no proposed assessment on the above assessment list exceeds the benefits to be derived from the improvement by the piece of property to be so assessed. 3. That no piece of property so listed will bear more than its proper proportionate share of the cost of the improvement.
