Result
OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, Jack H. Petersen has been employed by Salt Lake City
since October 1, 1965 and advanced to the position of Assistant
Superintendent in 1968; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Petersen is currently serving as the treatment plant
superintendent and has done so since April 1971; and
WHEREAS, through the efforts of Mr. Petersen the treatment plant
has maintained an outstanding safety record and has taken action to
implement safety procedures and remove and rectify areas which have
been detrimental to health and safety of employees of the plant; and
WHEREAS in recognition of such efforts Mr. Petersen was the
recipient of the "Outstanding Plant Safety Award" by the Utah Water
Pollution Control Association.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City that it does hereby express to Jack H. Petersen its
sincere appreciation and gratitude and high esteem for his conscientious
and faithful service to Salt Lake City and its citizens and recognizes
the achievements of Mr. Petersen and congratulates him on receiving the
"Outstanding Plant Safety Award" from the Utah Water Pollution Control
Association.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be delivered
to Jack H. Petersen.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
