OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, CALVIN D. WILSON, commenced employment with the Salt Lake
City Corporation on June 1, 1938; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Wilson has served as the Director of the Tracy Aviary
for some 37 years; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Wilson is a well recognized authority on birds and has
authored several books on the subject; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Wilson has been a very reliable employee, giving ser-
vice beyond that which is required by working six days a week and has,
during his long tenure of service, been diligent, honest and efficient
in the discharge of his duties and has served with fidelity and thorough-
ness, thus rendering valuable service to Salt Lake City and its inhabi-
tants; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Wilson has been well thought of by those who have
worked close with him; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Wilson is now retiring from his employment with Salt
Lake City Corporation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
SALT LAKE CITY, that it does hereby express to Mr. Calvin D. Wilson
sincere and deep appreciation and gratitude to his faithful service to
Salt Lake City and its inhabitants. Said Board further expresses its
best wishes to Mr. Wilson for a long, productive and enjoyable period of
retirement.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, this 15th
day of Julf, 1975. /
