OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, Ronald P. Armstrong has been employed by Salt Lake City
Corporation with the Salt Lake City Water Reclamation Plant since
April 1968; and
WHEREAS, during these years of service Mr. Armstrong has advanced
from a laborer to a plant operator and is currently an operator II which
is a chief operator's classification; and
WHEREAS, through his dedication, initiative and service has been
an asset to the City and City residents; and
WHEREAS, due to Mr. Armstrong's knowledge of waste water treat-
ment, his own personal capabilities and ability to supervise and
train others, his certification as a chief engineer and of his
cooperation with the public and his fellow employees he has been
awarded the "Operator of the Year" award by the Utah Water Pollution
Control Association.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City that it does hereby express to Ronald P. Armstrong its
sincere appreciation and high esteem for his faithful and dedicated
service to Salt Lake City and its citizens and recognizes the achieve-
ments of Mr . Armstrong and congratulates him on receiving the "Opera-
tor of the Year" award from the Utah Water Pollution Control Association.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be delivered
to Ronald P. Armstrong.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 5th day of May, 1977. /
