OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, Grant,Mabey has served on the Board of Directors of the
Westside Community Council since the Council's inception and is
currently chairman of the Council; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Mabey has served as chairman of the Westside Community
Clean-up and donated many hours of long and dedicated service; and
WHEREAS, the Community Clean-up program has been an overwhelming
success in enhancing the western portion of the City and has been a
benefit to the residents of the neighborhoods as well as the City
as a whole.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City that it does hereby express to Grant Mabey its sincere
appreciation for his community spirit and public mindedness and the
services which he has rendered to the Westside Community Council and
the residents of this City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be delivered
to Grant Mabey.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 5th day of May, 1977.
