RESOLUTION .
WHEREAS, the Legislature has provided for the erection
of a state building on the capitol grounds', a ai it will be necessary
and proper that the surrounding grounds be laid out and properly
graded, with a view of having tie most feasible approach to the
future parks around Ensign Peak; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Engineer is hereby antho-
rised to establish such grades and also to finish this Council with
a map showing the location of the City's property north of First
North, west of the City Creek Canyon, south of Ninth North and
east of Third West Street. and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Land & Water Commissioner be;'
and he is hereby instructed to stop all teamsters from hauling away
the soil around Ensign Peak.
