, HSR AS, Hanak &: Rumph heretofore made sp)lication to the Dis-
trict Court of Salt Lake County for a retail. liquor 'license, which
was duly granted by said Court, end an order granted directing the
Board of City Commissioners to issue said license, dated March 8,
1912; and
WHEREAS. Such license was directed to be issued by the said
Commissioners March 11, 1912, but before the sane was actually
issued said Board of Commissioners rescinded said direction and
ordered that no license be issued said H ngk & Rurph, said last
action being token because of a protest against issuing said license
havin€- been presented to said Board, the same being Berition No.
337; and
WHEREAS, It has cone to the knowledge of said Board of Coumis-
sioners since its last named action, that said Hanak & Runph, rely-
ing upon obtaining such liquor license, exercised an option upon and
have remodelled the building where they proposed to car-y on said
business, and have expended a large amount of money in furniture
and fixtures, all of wnich would be a total loss to them in the
event of not receiving such license; and
WHEREAS, The Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, after
fully considering the matter, are of the opinion that it would not
be just under all the circumstances to refuse to issue such license
to said Hanek Bumph.
NOB THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That the action of the Board of Commissioners of March 18,
1912, rescinding the action of the Board of March 11, 1912, order-
ing a retail liquor license to issue to said Hana.k & Rumph, end
denying end filing their r.pilication for said license, be recon.+
sidered.
2. That the City Recorder he, and he is hereby directed to
issue to Hanel,: Fc Punch a retail liquor dealer's license. a s directe.
by the District Court of Salt Lake County, by order dated March 8,
