RESOLUTION
Result OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, El Rita M. Beesley has been employed by Salt Lake City
Corporation in the City Recorder's office for the past twelve years;
and
WHEREAS, she will retire as Deputy City Recorder on November 1,
1968; and
WHEREAS, during her entire tenure of employment she has been a
conscientious, capable and efficient public servant endearing herself
to all with whom she has associated by reason of her keen sense of
humor and loving nature; and
WHEREAS, Salt Lake City and its residents owe a debt of gratitude
to her for her faithful service and devoted attention to her duties; and
WHEREAS, she has successfully achieved the admiration and respect
of all who know her as a mother, friend and public servant;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY ¶LHE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that said Board, on its own behalf and on behalf
of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City, does hereby express its sincere
gratitude and appreciation for the valuable service which Mrs. Beesley
has rendered to the city, and for the warmth and love with which she
has enriched the lives of her associates.
The Board hereby extends to Mrs. Beesley its best wishes for the
continued blessings of a most productive life.
The City Recorder is hereby directed to deliver a copy of this
resolution to Mrs. Beesley.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 30th day of October, 1968.
