RESOLUTION
Result //
WHEREAS, the monies generated by the sanitary sewage service
charge are placed in the general fund of Salt Lake City; and
WHEREAS, an efficient sewage disposal system is necessary for
the preservation of the public health and safety of the residents of
Salt Lake City; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City is desirous
of maintaining and improving the sanitary sewer facilities of Salt
Lake City;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City, Utah as follows:
All monies received from the sanitary sewer service charge in
excess of 1.4 million dollars annually be accumulated in a separate
fund and used exclusively for sewer construction, maintainance of
sewage facilities and improvement of sewage treatment facilities.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners on the3lstday of Tuly
1974.
