Neslen _...__ • Scheid Mr. Chairman Result RESOLUTION WHEREAS, On the 23rd day of January, 1919, the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City duly passed a resolution of intention to operate and maintain for a period of three years from April 26, 1919, to April 26, 1922, Lighting District No. One in Salt Lake City, which resolution directed the City Engineer to make and file with the City Recorder a written report presenting plans and specifications for the improvements necessary for said lighting district, and an estimate of the cost and incidental expenses thereof and a diagram showing the proposed district with separate lots thereof numbered, and the proposed assessment of the costs and expenses of the proposed improvement upon the several lots in said district; and WHEREAS, The City Engineer has complied with said resolution and has made and filed said report so required of him with the City Recorder, and the City Recorder has presented the same to the Board of Commissioners, who have duly considered the said report: NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, that on Wednesday, the 12th day of March, 1919, at the hour of 10 A. M. of said day, the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City will, in the Council Chamber of the said Board, in the City and County Building in Salt Lake City, hear and consider protests against either the said improvement generally, or against the proposed assessment fixed in the report of the City Pmgineer herein above mentioned; and any person owning -1- ilproperty in said proposed improvement district, may, at or before ,the time herein fixed for hearing such protests, file with the 1 ;City Recorder a written protest setting forth his objection to Ilsuch proposed improvement; and the City Recorder is hereby directed to give public notice of the said hearing in the manner provided by law.
