WHEREAS, Salt Lake City, a municipal corporation of
the State of Utah, did on the 29th day of February, 1944, deposit
with the First Security Trust Company of Salt Lake City, Utah, for
safe keeping $500,000.00 par value United States of America 7/8 of
1% certificates of indebtedness Series A,1945, dated February 1,
1944, represented by:
Bond No. 1250 $100,000.00
Bond No. 1251 100,000.00
Bond No. 1252 100,000.00
Bond No. 1253 100,000.00
Bond No. 1254 100,000.00
$500,000.00
With interest coupons attached due August 1, 1944 and
February 1, 1945.
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Board of City
Commissioners of Salt Lake City to sell these bonds at the market.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Commis-
sioners of Salt Lake City does hereby authorize and direct that the
First Security Trust Company of Salt Lake City, Utah, deliver to
the City Treasurer of Salt Lake City the above de ed certifi-
cataof indebtedness.
