RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, it is necessary in order to construct adequate
sidewalk and curb and gutter facilities on the east side of 23d
East Street in Salt Lake City, Utah from Foothill Drive on the
north to 21st South Street on the south and it is in the public
interest and for the public benefit that such construction of side-
walk and curb and gutter be accomplished:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISS-
IONERS OF SALT LAKE CITY that it is necessary and to the public
interest of said City and its inhabitants that the City construct
sidewalk and curb and gutter on the east side of 23d East Street
between Foothill Drive on the north and 21st South Street on the
south in Salt Lake City all in accordance with plans and specifica-
tions heretofore prepared for and approved by the Board of
Commissioners of Salt Lake City;
That the construction and maintenance of said sidewalk
and curb and gutter facilities be an 'the same are hereby authori-
zed; �
That the said ];and her inafter described, and the whole
thereof, is hereby determine to be necessary and the most suit-
able for the construction d maintenance of said sidewalk and
curb and gutter and the acquiring of said land by Salt Lake City
for such purpose is hereby declared to be a public necessity and
for the good, well-being and protection of the inhabitants of said
city;
That condemnation proceedings be and the same are
authorized to be brought in the name of Salt Lake City by the Legal
Department of Salt Lake City to acquire by such proceedings all of
the land hereinafter described for the proper and necessary con-
struction of sidewalk and curb and gutter as aforesaid. The
parcels of land hereinafter referred to and authorized to be con-
demned hereunder are situated in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County,
Utah and are particularly described as follows:

The east 8.0 ft. of Lot 7 and the east 8.0 ft. of that
portion of Lot 8 lying south of Foothill Drive, in
Block 16, 5 Acre Plat C, B.F.S.
The west 8.0 ft. of Lots 3 and 4 and the west 8.0 ft. of
