Result
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, Fred Southwick has served as an employee of
Salt Lake City Corporation, for the past ten years, serving
as a building inspector in the Bureau of Mechanical Inspec-
tion and as Chief Building Inspector since January 15, 1968;
and
WHEREAS, Mr. Southwick will retire from his position with
the City, February 15, 19727 and
WHEREAS, Mr. Southwick has served faithfully and dili-
gently in his positions, and as Chief Building Inspector has
conscientiously tried to improve his department and to foster
an attitude of more effective and stringent enforcement of
Building Codes throughout the City; and
WHEREAS, Salt Lake City and its residents owe him a
debt of gratitude for his devoted service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that it does hereby express to Mr. Fred
Southwick its sincere and deep appreciation for his faithful
service to the City and its inhabitants. Said Board further
extends to him its best wishes for a long and enjoyable retire-
ment period.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution
be transmitted to Mr. Southwick.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah, this 10th day of February, 1972.
