RESOLUTION .
9.'PMEAS, notice of intention for Paving Extension No. BB,
on State street between Ninth and Tenth South streets has been
advertised calling for paving with asphalt; and
Y'FR';REAS, property owners along this street are desirous of
having same paved with Utah Rock asphalt; and
WBEREAS, in an opinion heretofore submitted by the Legal
Department it is held that the kind of material tc be used must be
specified in the notice of intention; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Engineer be, and he is hereby
authorized to furnish specifications providing for a six inch concrete
base with the upper surface roughened to facilitate the adhesion of
the 2'i inch rock asphalt surface; and that the City Recorder be instructed
to advertise notice of intention of Paving Extension No. 88 in accordance
therewith.
