Result RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Salt Lake City, Utah, by an ordinance duly passed by
its Board of Commissioners on the 31st day of Deoember, 1913, granted
to Salt Lake Terminal Company, a Corporation, a franchise to lay
tracks and operate oars upon Pierpont Street and other streets in
Salt Lake City; and
WHEREAS, The ordinance granting said franohise provides that if
the work of oonstruotion and operation of said railroad be not
prosecuted with diligence, and fully completed within two years from
the date said ordinance becomes effective said franohise shall be
null and void; and
WHEREAS, Track has not yet been laid upon said Pierpont Street,
and more then two years have elapsed since said ordinance became
effective, to-wit, since January 1, 1914, and property owners upon
said Pierpont Street ask that said franchise in so far as it gives
said Salt Lake Terminal Company right to lay track or operate a
railroad upon Pierpont Street be revoked and annulled:
THEREFORE, Be it resolved that said Salt Lake Term al Company

And be it further resolved that the City Recorder be, and he

Salt Lake Terminal Company immediately.
