RESOLUTION APPROVING AND PROVIDING FOR THE
EXECUTION OF A PROPOSED WATER AND SEWER
FACILITIES GRANT AMENDATORY CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the United States of America (herein called the
"Government") made an Agreement for a grant dated June 2, 1970,
with SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION (herein called the "Grantee")
to assist in defraying the cost of construction of the Water
& Sewer Facilities therein described identified as Project No.
WS-77, Contract No. H-602-4023; and
WHEREAS, the Government has submitted a proposed First
Amendatory Contract to said Contract, which Amendatory Contract
has been read in open meeting, fully considered in accordance
with all pertinent rules of procedure and legal requirements, and
made a part of the Grantee's records; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable and in the public interest
that said First Amendatory Contract be approved and executed;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it Resolved by Salt Lake City Corporation
as follows:
Section 1. The proposed First Amendatory Contract to Contract
No. H-602-4023 for Project No. WS-Utah-77 is hereby in all respects
approved.
Section 2. The Mayor Salt Lake City Corporation is hereby
authorized and directed to execute said proposed First Amendatory
Contract in three counterparts on behalf of the Grantee, and the
Salt Lake City Recorder is hereby authorized and directed to impress
and attest the official seal of the Grantee on each such counterpart
and to forward such counterparts to the Department of Housing and
Urban Development, together with such other documents relative to
the approval and execution thereof as may be required by the
Government.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect this 22nd
day of of November , 1972.
