pressing its appreciation to you for your valued contribution to the
Salt Lake City Police Department"s athletic program for under-
priviledged children.

WHEREAS, Salt Lake City Corporation through the Salt Lake City
Police Department is sponsoring a youth basketball program for the
underpriviledged boys; and
WHEREAS, equipment and clothing and facilities are very important
to the success of this program; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Fred F. Auerbach, President of Auerbach Co., has
generously donated sufficient T-shirts for use in the said basket-
ball program:
AND, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF

SALT LAKE CITY, that it does hereby express to Mr. Fred. A. Auerbach,
sincere and deep appreciation and gratitude for his contribution to
the success of a very noteworthy project undertaken by the Salt Lake
City Police Department for underpriviledged citizens.
The City Recorder is hereby directed to deliver a copy of this
resolution to Mr. Auerbach.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah
