Result
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, the Salt Lake Gulls Baseball Team is appreciated by
the citizens of Salt Lake City for the recreational and spectator
sport they provide the citizens of Salt Lake City; and
WHEREAS, said Baseball Team has delivered exceptional perfor-
mances in their baseball playing ability during the past season;
and
WHEREAS, said Baseball Team has won the Eastern Division of
the Pacific Coast Baseball League for the team, the City of Salt
Lake and the State of Utah.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners
of Salt Lake City on behalf of themselves and all the residents
of Salt Lake City, that it does hereby express sincere apprecia-
tion and gratitude for said team's success in winning the Eastern
Division of the Pacific Coast Baseball League for themselves
and the citizens of Salt Lake City, and does hereby commend the
entire team for their dedication and noteworthy service and success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of the Resolution is to be
delivered to the Manager of the Salt Lake Gulls Baseball Team.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah, this 4th day of September, 1975.
