RESOLUTION .
Mr.chairmen
ItOath WHEREAS, under date of July 31, 1916, the
Oregon Short Line Railroad Company petitioned the
Board of Commissioners.to accept the newly widened viaduct on North
Temple Street, stating that although the space between the viaducts
has not as yet been covered, if after the same has been given a fair
trial and found unsatisfactory, they will cover it; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer, on this date, has
reported that with the exception of the covering between the old and
new structures, the viaduct has been satisfactorily completed; now
therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Recorder be, and he
is hereby instructed to infotm said Oregon.Short Line Railroad
Company that the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City accepts said
viaduct with the reservation and upon the understanding, however, that ,
the open space above referred to will be covered by the Company in
case the Board of Commissioners so rder at an f toe ime.
